Flashing Firmware – Step-by-Step

Step 1: Download Firmware

  • Get the Fastboot ROM (.tgz) for Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G (India)
  • Extract the ROM — confirm it has an images folder

Step 2: Install Required Drivers & Tools

  • Install Xiaomi USB Drivers
  • Install and launch the latest Mi Flash Tool

Step 3: Enter Fastboot Mode

  • Power off the phone
  • Hold Volume Down + Power until the Fastboot screen appears
  • Connect the phone to the PC using a USB-C cable

Step 4: Flash the ROM

  • In Mi Flash Tool:
    • Click Select, and choose the extracted ROM folder
    • At the bottom, choose “clean all”
    • Click Flash
  • Wait for the process to complete (5–10 minutes). The phone will reboot automatically

How to Repair IMEI on Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G

The Indian Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G uses the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. IMEI repair for MediaTek is different from Snapdragon-based phones.

Note: Restoring the original IMEI from your device’s SIM tray or box is legal. Modifying IMEI is illegal in many regions.

Step-by-Step (Maui META Method):

  1. Install Drivers
    • Install MediaTek USB VCOM drivers on your PC
  2. Download Maui META Tool
    • Launch it and select “IMEI Download” mode
  3. Connect Phone
    • Power off your phone
    • Connect via USB — Maui META will detect it in META Mode
  4. Load DB File
    • From your downloaded ROM, locate the MD1_DB and AP_DB files
    • Load them in Maui META
  5. Write IMEI
    • Go to IMEI Download tab
    • Enter your original IMEI
    • Click Download to Flash
    • Wait for confirmation
  6. Reboot & Verify
    • Reboot your phone
    • Dial *#06# to check IMEI
